Please help, no X

Hello,

I have read and tried a lot of fixes now. After an update some time ago, my X broke and I can’t get graphics anymore. Every help is appreciated (also how do I copy code from tty to the forum?)

Best regards

Select the text with a mouse and press Ctrl Shift C to copy the highlighted text. Not sure how much help I can be with the other part. Good luck!

Well, I have only access to the TTYs with CTRL-ALT-F3 to F7
There is no mouse, and I have to connect to the WIFI via nmtui
startx says: no display found
I reinstalled all nvidia drivers, updated to latest kernel, any help would be greatly appreciated

It seems you have a dual-graphics setup … but the display driver is defaulting to nvidia which is also pumping out some ACPI errors.
In whatever case this is not the normal configuration. Did you set it up like this on purpose?
Please also share the output of

mhwd -l -d

(PS going by your kernel version you are certainly out-of-date. Please perform a full system upgrade, before querying mhwd, if possible. sudo pacman -Syu)

Actually, I updated everything yesterday, and then I changed to a newer Kernel, 6.1 (I read that’s the LTS version). I was on kernel 5.15 I think. I thought I could magically fix it by updating all, changing kernel and reinstalling nvidia drivers.

By dual-graphics, do you mean, dual screen? I just use dual screen, and for that, NVidia needs to work I think, I am not sure anymore.
However, I would be happy to have any graphics at all …

This is the output from mhwd -l -d

To take a stab …
You want to use the hybrid profile … which relies on video-modesetting.
So you want those.
But there shouldnt be a reason for video-linux.
So lets try to remove that and reinstall the hybrid profile for just in case.

sudo mhwd -r pci video-linux
sudo mhwd -f -i pci video-hybrid-intel-nvidia-prime

Hello, thank you for your effort and the answer, unfortunately I am out of luck :‘(
