Manjaro starting in TTY, problem is Display Manager how to fix?

Hello,

So I previously had Ubuntu 20.04 installed in Dual Boot along with W11, I installed Manjaro with Budgie Desktop after deleting the Ubuntu partition.

When I startup Manjaro I get a prompt (tty) where I can log in, I have to start wifi manually everytime, I just followed this guide (sorry but it doesn’t allow me to use links) :

https://forum.manjaro.org/t/fix-system-doesn-t-boot-boots-to-a-black-screen-or-stops-at-a-message/3906

and found out problem is coming from DisplayManager because when I run
startx I have an interface now.
Question 1 : how do I fix DisplayManager all this ?
Question 2 : in my BIOS startup menu I still have an entry with the old Ubuntu, is there a way to delete it ?

Thank you in advance !

Then you may be interested in why the display manager fails.

Here’s the result of journalctl --boot=-1 --priority=3 --catalog --no-pager

I also found a file called Xorg.0.log in /var/log/ folder with a few warnings, I think the ones causing problem are at [33.173] with modules not loading properly, but I don’t know anything about all this

since this file is super long I put the whole log in a pastebin : /var/log/Xorg.0.log there’s only warning after the ones above at the very end of the file.

By Googling the warning couldn't open module nv, I saw thread talking about adding graphic card’s kernet to initramfs and it might solve the problem, is the file in question in /etc/mkinitcpio.conf ?

Am really confused, thank you for your help !

Did you check the hash of the iso install file you downloaded?

I just checked, it’s the same

post output from:
inxi -G && mhwd -l -li

Is the service of the display manager enabled (i don’t know which one is used for Budgie)?

For the Display Manager I found lightdm, didn’t find any result for other DMs (gdm, lxdm, sddm, xdm)

ls -l /usr/sbin/ | grep lightdm
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root   288776  6 sept. 16:21 lightdm
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root      216 24 juil. 17:03 lightdm-settings

So to enable it I did this :

$ sudo systemctl enable lightdm.service
Created symlink /etc/systemd/system/display-manager.service → /usr/lib/systemd/system/lightdm.service.

EDIT : the Display Manager service was not enabled ! Thank you guys for your help !
