I have seen another thread Manjaro not detecting WiFi adaptor Intel Corporation Alder Lake-P PCH CNVi WiFi (rev 01) . But it seems that nothing worked.
The thread starter said Kernel 5.19 worked, but maybe it’s not available now.
Here are some information.
$ uname -a

I also tried to switch to Kernel 6.1, but it cannot load, getting stuck by a blinking cursor.
Maybe it’s caused by nvidia, but installing nvidia-dkms
doesn’t helped.

Is Wi-fi enabled? On xfce right clicking network manager applet in tray has a setting. Maybe something similar with other DE.
You don’t have a full inxi, but if this is a laptop is there a physical switch to turn wifi on/off?
in terminal: rfkill list
It seems that there’s no suspicious settings in BIOS.
also I cannot boot from kernel 6.1
$ rfkill list

If Nvidia is the issue, you should amend your first post with a full inxi output as 6.1 is now LTS. Maybe one of the Nvidia knowledgeable folks will chime in here. Sorry, Nvidia is not my thing.
Welcome to Manjaro!
Please read the information behind this link. It will help you to post necessary information.
[HowTo] Provide System Information
Please press the three dots … below your post and then press the
If you give us information about your system, we can see what we’re talking about and make better suggestions.
You can do this by using inxi
in a terminal or in console.
sudo inxi --admin --verbosity=7 --filter --no-host --width
Personally identifiable information such as serial numbers and MAC addresses are filtered out by this command
Presenting the information in this way allows everyone to be familiar with the format and quickly find the items they need without missing anything.
Copy the output from inxi (including the command) and paste it into your post.
To make it more readable, add 3 backticks ``` on an extra line before and after the pasted text.
(Wisdom lies in reading )
Another thought. Are you dual booting Windows? If so, make sure that Windows is completely shutdown, hibernation, hybrid sleep and fast start are completely disabled.
I edited my post and added full inxi to it.(but with kernel 5.15, since I cannot boot from 6.1)
I do dual booting Windows, but I have disabled fast boot.
Have you tried to manually add the module?
modprobe iwlwifi
I tried, but there’s not any output.
$ sudo modprobe iwlwifi
$ sudo dmesg | grep iwlwifi

Hi @Terrasse ,
I wonder whether you could read the following post, in order to solve your problem.
‘[SOLVED] Wireless Issues / Newbie Corner / Arch Linux Forums ’
I found a similar post in the forum, that could be helpful:
‘Iwlwifi not working in manjaro-kde-221115-linux519 ’
It has the same error code -22, which you posted as the output of sudo modprobe iwlwifi terminal command.
Hope it helps,
Regards

Have you tried to add ibt=off to your kernel parameters?
Adding ibt=off to your kernel parameters is required for >=5.18
and again, make sure that Fast boot/fast start is disabled in UEFI/BIOS and Windows.
Please see:
Hello Community!
I just got my brand new laptop, it comes with an i7 12700 and Nvidia 3070 Ti, 64 GB RAM DDR4.
I installed Manjaro/KDE on it and - with my surprise - I face a lot of issues.
Kernel 6.x does not run - it hangs at boot and I need to power off, no way to reboot. I can post a photo of the messages if it is worth it, but maybe you can already tell me that my CPU is not supported by 6.0 yet? And by 5.19 neither? The only working kernel is 5.15.79 LTS.
I have terrible tearing issues…
Hello guys, there’s a good news: I tried adding ibt=off
to my kernel parameter as @jrichard326 memtioned. And I can boot into Kernel 6.1 now. And I bought a USB WiFi for temporary use.
But the onboard wifi is still not working.
Here’s my new inxi:

I tried most of methods mentioned in that thread, but nothing worked. At last the thread starter edit the kernel to solve the issue, which may be too difficult for me.
And this thread does not help either…
By the way, I checked again to make sure the fast boot is disabled. And hibernation, hybrid sleep is also disabled. I also booted into Windows to shutdown the WiFi and the shutdown Windows completely. Which doesn’t work either.

Hi @Terrasse ,
Could you install linux519 kernel and give a try?. Other arch forums reported that this wifi driver may have not been updated. Please read this and proceed as you wish.
‘Wifi not working on LTS but does on Linux - #9 by leigh - Basic Help & Support - ArchLabs Linux ’
Regards,
No, they can’t. 5.19 is EOL and hasn’t been in the repos for months.

Substitute IWL_CFG_160 to IWL_CFG_ANY in Kernel 6.2.2 source Line 1094 of /drivers/net/wireless/intel/iwlwifi/pcie/drv.c and recompile kernel (or iwiwifi module) can make the card work (kernel 5.19 code of this part is basically the same as 6.2). The issus persists into wireless-next and iwlwifi-next branches so it is likely not going to be fixed in the near future.

Hi @JerryXiao ,
Thanks very much !!!
Your solution worked for me.
I’d post what I did in case someone meets similar situation:
wget https://cdn.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v6.x/linux-6.2.2.tar.xz
tar -xvf linux-6.2.2.tar.xz
cd linux-6.2.2
vim drivers/net/wireless/intel/iwlwifi/pcie/drv.c #edit the line 1094 as @JerryXiao said
make mrproper
zcat /proc/config.gz > .config
make modules_prepare
make M=drivers/net/wireless/intel/iwlwifi
zstd drivers/net/wireless/intel/iwlwifi/iwlwifi.ko
cp /lib/modules/6.2.0-1-MANJARO/kernel/drivers/net/wireless/intel/iwlwifi/iwlwifi.ko.zst ~/iwlwifi.ko.bak
sudo cp drivers/net/wireless/intel/iwlwifi/iwlwifi.ko.zst /lib/modules/6.2.0-1-MANJARO/kernel/drivers/net/wireless/intel/iwlwifi/
And then every time after reboot:
sudo modprobe iwlwifi --force-vermagic
I followed guidance from Arch Wiki - Compile Kernel Module , which may be helpful.
