Edited everything:

Hey Guys,

What do I want to do? - I want to use Wayland on my Manjaro KDE installation (from today)
How did I trie? - I tried by switching via the select on the bottom left of the login screen
→ Results: A black screen in which I got stuck.
I hope someone can help me with my problem. Thanks in advance.

Hi @Tob1nator, and welcome!

In order for us, or anyone for that matter, to be able to provide assistance, more information is necessary. To that end, please see:

Please also note and heed: Forum Rules - Manjaro

Hope you manage!

:bangbang: Tip: :bangbang:

To provide terminal output, copy the text you wish to share, and paste it here, surrounded by three (3) backticks, a.k.a grave accents. Like this:

```
pasted text
```

Or three (3) tilde signs, like this:

~~~
pasted text
~~~

This will just cause it to be rendered like this:

Portaest sed
elementum
cursus nisl nisi
hendrerit ac quis
sit
adipiscing
tortor sit leo commodo.

Instead of like this:

Portaest sed elementum cursus nisl nisi hendrerit ac quis sit adipiscing tortor sit leo commodo.

Alternatively, paste the text you wish to format as terminal output, select all pasted text, and click the </> button on the taskbar. This will indent the whole pasted section with one TAB, causing it to render the same way as described above.

Thereby improving legibility and making it much easier for those trying to be of assistance.

:bangbang::bangbang: Additionally

If your language isn’t English, please prepend any and all terminal commands with LC_ALL=C. For example:

LC_ALL=C bluetoothctl

This will just cause the terminal output to be in English, making it easier to understand and debug.

Hi @Tob1nator and welcome to the Manjaro community.

I’m afraid you haven’t provided much information to begin speculating about your issue.

However, there are a few items concerning black screens in recent Known Issues and Solutions and listed in every Update Announcement thread. I would look through those to see which of them might potentially affect you. There is also the forum Search that might reveal something useful.

In the meantime; and as mentioned by @Mirdarthos

As a new forum user, please take some time to familiarise yourself with Forum requirements; in particular, the many ways to use the forum to your benefit:

The Update Announcements should be checked frequently for important update related information. The Known Issues and Solutions section should generally be a first port of call before posting a request for support, in case an issue has already been addressed.

Output of the following command (formatted according to forum requirements) may be useful for those wishing to help:

inxi --admin --verbosity=8 --filter --no-host --width

Be prepared to provide more information and outputs from other commands when asked.

Regards.

This Post described the exact same problem: How to switch to Wayland? Wayland does not work
But still thanks for trying to help me.

Which particular post? You only linked to the topic.

Solution removed pending some clarification; for the benefit of others finding this thread.

Did you mean this thread (linked from the thread you indicated)?

Additionally, you have no swap space configured; you might wish to attend to that when you are able:
