System hangs during boot with Kernel 6.x (5.15 is ok)

I have a Dell Laptop where Manjaro is running on since 2019. Always just did the updates.
With kernel 6.x the system hangs at boot, right after loading docker containers. This is the last startup message I see. I don’t know what it’s doing at this point and if it’s trying to start X11/Wayland at this point.

It did that with the first version of kernel 6.x, starting from 6.1, 6.6 and now 6.12. Tried all, nothing changed.
The 5-series starts fine, now on 5.15.
System just freezes, no reaction on keyboard, no power button, nothing. CPU is getting warm and after a while the fan kicks in, so it does something.
When I start the system from a Live-Stick with 6.12, it starts fine (but with X11).
And yes, the system has a Nvidia Graphics [GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Mobile], what I disabled with a kernel param “nouveau.modeset=0 nouveau.blacklist=1”

What can I do to debug the problem? Any ideas?

Hi @TimG, and welcome!

In order for us, or anyone for that matter, to be able to provide assistance, more information is necessary. To that end, please see:

Please also note and heed: Forum Rules - Manjaro

Those with privacy concerns: note that when -z, or --filter is used, all personally identifiable information is filtered out from the resulting inxi output. :eyes:

Hope you manage!

:bangbang: Tip for legibility: :bangbang:

To provide terminal output, copy the text you wish to share, and paste it here, surrounded by three (3) backticks, a.k.a grave accents. Like this:

```
pasted text
```

Or three (3) tilde signs, like this:

~~~
pasted text
~~~

This will just cause it to be rendered like this:

Portaest sed
elementum
cursus nisl nisi
hendrerit ac quis
sit
adipiscing
tortor sit leo commodo.

Instead of like this:

Portaest sed elementum cursus nisl nisi hendrerit ac quis sit adipiscing tortor sit leo commodo.

Alternatively, paste the text you wish to format as terminal output, select all pasted text, and click the </> button on the taskbar. This will indent the whole pasted section with one TAB, causing it to render the same way as described above.

Thereby improving legibility and making it much easier for those trying to be of assistance.

:bangbang::bangbang: Additionally

If your language isn’t English, please prepend any and all terminal commands with LC_ALL=C. For example:

LC_ALL=C bluetoothctl

This will just cause the terminal output to be in English, making it easier to understand and debug.

Please edit your post accordingly.

Note that the above text is partially pre-prepared as a general introduction for new forum users. Please take the time to follow links given and learn how to create effective support requests and encourage quality responses.
