If you give us information about your system, we can see what we’re talking about and make better suggestions.
You can do this by using inxi
in a terminal or in console.
inxi --admin --verbosity=7 --filter --no-host --width
Personally identifiable information such as serial numbers and MAC addresses are filtered out by this command
Presenting the information in this way allows everyone to be familiar with the format and quickly find the items they need without missing anything.
Copy the output from inxi (including the command) and paste it into your post.
To make it more readable, add 3 backticks ``` on an extra line before and after the pasted text.
You can also use Maxi

when you are in your running system (with CTRL + ALT + F2).

thanks for your quick response something that I am not being able to do is enter with ctrl+alt+f2 enter the kernel selection screen and then get the error try with the keys as you indicate, but it does not enter the system later I do the n option with a live manjaro and I get the information with inxi
Perhaps a misunderstanding either on my part on on yours, but:
the very first image you posted is what you see when the Display Manager cannot start
(I think it’s GDM in this case, but I’m not sure)
The rest of the system is up and running at that point
and you should be able to switch to a TTY
by using this or a similar key combination:
CTRL ALT F3
Try different Fx keys
F2 through F6 usually works.
Thanks a lot I was able to enter the system I run the inxi as indicated and it is more than one screen How do I copy it to a file? or that inxi information is saved in some directory?
inxi --admin --verbosity=7 --filter --no-host --width > somefile_name.txt
Thanks for the help
I already added the information to the first post
something i just saw when running manjaro-chroot -a
from a live usb, it gives me an error
manjaro-chroot -a ✔
grub-probe: error: cannot find a GRUB drive for /dev/sdb1. Check your device.map.
grub-probe: error: cannot find a GRUB drive for /dev/sdb1. Check your device.map.
==> Mounting (ManjaroLinux) [/dev/sda1]
--> mount: [/mnt]
That’s normal. It’s referring to the USB drive (being used for the live ISO session.)
good thank you
I was looking for an option to be able to start manjaro again and I found that…
I wait to see what you advise me for this boot problem
I haven’t been able to use my laptop for several days, maybe I should post the problem in an arch forum?
Do you recommend any in particular?
thank you very much to all.
Let’s look for errors in the system journal:
journalctl --boot=-1 --priority=3 --catalog
Difficulty: ★☆☆☆☆
The first step for troubleshooting an issue is to find an error log: a trace produced by an application when failing/crashing, and providing the first trail a user/developer can follow to fix it.
1. Reach a usable system
Obviously, it will be impossible to acquire those logs if you can’t have access to a usable system.
See: [HowTo] Reach a minimal system
2. Find the faulty application
If you don’t know which application failed – this is usually the case on a system or gra…

The issue seems to come from touchegg . You can try (temporarily) removing or disabling it.
I see a new version is coming; maybe it includes a fix.
disable it with this command but still the same error
systemctl disable touchegg
I believe you need superuser privileges for disabling a service.
sudo systemctl disable touchegg
Though if you still have the issue, you can check again the logs for anything new.
here I pass the current detail of journalctl

I searched for the two kinds of errors showing, but this is getting out of my expertise…

Some results i found would suggest an out-of-date firmware . You should check if firmware updates are available for your hardware.
I can’t find a definitive answer about this. It seems to be related to polkit , but i have a hard time seeing how…
