Bluetooth issue after update. Can’t connect and by the looks of it it doesn’t know I have it on my laptop
A post was split to a new topic: Is LibreOffice crashing for anyone else?
Yeah, that issue is finally gone
@Yochanan: Look forward for the fix in 390.157-3. Should be simple.
@Esp: I don’t think the nvidia-470 driver is an option, at least not for the Quadro-2000 I use.
After this update followed by restart, go to System Settings > Appearance > Plasma Style. My System Settings window crashes, but there are other menu items that produces same issue:
Application: System Settings (systemsettings), signal: Segmentation fault

In KDE plasma, after the update, when I try to launch an application through the launcher (i.e. start menu) it does not launch. What it does is that it creates a panel in the taskbar for 5 sec as if the app was open, and then that disappears.
If however, I launch the application through the KRunner (with Alt + Enter) it does launch correctly. Can you help?
I have the same issue here:
And here is the solution thanks to @brahma:
Problem solved:
upgraded lib32-nvidia-390xx-utils (390.157-1 → 390.157-3)
Thanks to the Manjaro team!
A post was split to a new topic: Bluetooth headphones have no sound
The pamac cli auth is a really great feature, it’s absurd to need to switch windows to use pamac-cli. Only thing missing is to detect automatically without passing the environmental value.
It might be worth watching the journal when you try, to see if that gives you any clues. I can’t promise it’ll help, but it’s worth a try.
journalctl --follow

again forgot to take a btrfs snapshot before updating
KDE plasma is no longer usable, new configurations or home folder do not solve all problems. I did a restore & am waiting w/ the upgrade until the problems are found and fixed.
It would help if you’re more specific than just this.
P.S.:
Have you cleared your cache after the upgrade?
rm --force --recursive ~/.cache/
I use KDE myself, and have no problems here. Noting unstable, crashing the whole time, or unusable, or whatever.
thanks, yes I followed on this and cleared the cache folder and after a reboot again incl. kscreen folder, it did not changed anything, not able to run anything from startmenu
I guess this works only w/ single screen or single monitor … I use 3 monitors

is this an nvidia GPU?
my screens are shown but I’m not able to start any software from menu and taskbar, just reboot or shutdown works afterwards

I don’t use any extra xorg config, but still strange… if I delete the kscreen folder and reboot there is no change …
Hmmm…I have NO
idea id this will work, or break your PC. Luckioly you do have backups, so that’s something. If you decide to do this, it’s at your own risk, and I take no responsibility if something breaks.
I get the feeling it’s some kind of user configuration issue. So you could try removing the directory that contains it, and hope it gets recreated.
sudo mv /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d.backup
This will just remove the directory for X but keep it on you PC if you need to recover something, or reverse the process.
And reboot to see if it works.
