Successful login.

Hi @ILYAJR,

In order for us, or anyone for that matter, to be able to provide assistance, more information is necessary. To that end, please see:

Hope you manage!

Tip:

To provide terminal output, copy the text you wish to share, and paste it here, surrounded by three (3) backticks, a.k.a grave accents. Like this:

```
pasted text
```

This will just cause it to be rendered like this:

Portaest sed
elementum
cursus nisl nisi
hendrerit ac quis
sit
adipiscing
tortor sit leo commodo.

Instead of like this:

Portaest sed elementum cursus nisl nisi hendrerit ac quis sit adipiscing tortor sit leo commodo.

Thereby improving legibility and making it much easier for those trying to be of assistance.

Please also try and launch the application from a terminal, and provide any and all output it gives here.

it says " zsh: parse error near `\n’ "

Most likely because you have used copy/paste to fill in the password

\n is a newline char - it is invalid in password input

it shows up when I enter the username

Then you have other problems and this is just a symptom - don’t ask me what it is because I don’t know.

If I am not mistaken - you have entered <username> and the < and > are pipe chars - remove them

Tested with bash and zsh - no issues

What if you try with an incorrect username on purpose?

Does it still spit out the same error about ‘\n’?

So for example, type it in exactly like this:

protonvpn-cli login iamafakeperson
