Hi
I just installed manjaro on my hybrid grafics laptop and did “sudo pacman -Syu” → reboot.
First no external monitor was detected, but I found:

Switching to nvidia with optimus worked, and now I can only see the laptop monitor and no external anymore.

try with different kernel…kate /etc/default/grubGRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT - inside the quotes add this parameter:ibt=offsudo update-grub
You wrote something about nvidia-xconfig.

you switched to what ? what is the setting of optimus ? nvidia or SGI (internal GPU) ?

I needed to delete the xconfig file in order to switch to nvidia with optimus@brahma ibt=off brought no change so far.

I found the problem I had:
Secondly, I changed the optimus-magager.conf file, where I set the driver explicit to nvidia.
Now everything works as intended, even both monitors at the same time!
