Follow the link in the fourth bullet point in the link above, which is this:

Please format command output as Preformatted text
this symbol: </> or CTRL+e

System is using PipeWire as default audio server

Default ALSA Output (currently PipeWire Media Server)

I suggest check audio devices detected in PipeWire

pactl list cards

ALSA data shows Realtek ALC221 Analog audio codec and is probably using snd_hda_intel driver

Please post more information about system

To further complicate your life; a little housekeeping…

Hi @OddToast and welcome to the Manjaro community.

As a new user, please take some time to familiarise yourself with Forum requirements; in particular, the many ways to use the forum to your benefit. To that end, some or all these links will be invaluable:

And last, but not least, the Stable Update Announcements, which you should check frequently for important update related information. Occasionally an issue might be directly related to a particular update; it’s always best to check those announcements.

I hope this helps. Cheers.

hey buddy i was wondering if you fixed this yet? just an FYI its always wise to test things before installing to make sure things work

things i do before fully installing any linux distro

  1. check to see if i can connect to wifi
  2. go to youtube to make sure my audio and video drivers work and function properly
  3. then try out the environment as a whole and play around a bit to get used to the new environment and make sure apps load

doing these things before installing linux distros usually help negate these issues

I’m guessing not.
