Hi @delfi770, and welcome!

In order for us, or anyone for that matter, to be able to provide assistance, more information is necessary. To that end, please see:

Please also note and heed: Forum Rules - Manjaro

Hope you manage!

:bangbang: Tip: :bangbang:

To provide terminal output, copy the text you wish to share, and paste it here, surrounded by three (3) backticks, a.k.a grave accents. Like this:

```
pasted text
```

Or three (3) tilde signs, like this:

~~~
pasted text
~~~

This will just cause it to be rendered like this:

Portaest sed
elementum
cursus nisl nisi
hendrerit ac quis
sit
adipiscing
tortor sit leo commodo.

Instead of like this:

Portaest sed elementum cursus nisl nisi hendrerit ac quis sit adipiscing tortor sit leo commodo.

Alternatively, paste the text you wish to format as terminal output, select all pasted text, and click the </> button on the taskbar. This will indent the whole pasted section with one TAB, causing it to render the same way as described above.

Thereby improving legibility and making it much easier for those trying to be of assistance.

:bangbang::bangbang: Additionally

If your language isn’t English, please prepend any and all terminal commands with LC_ALL=C. For example:

LC_ALL=C bluetoothctl

This will just cause the terminal output to be in English, making it easier to understand and debug.

Please edit your post accordingly.

Edit:

According to what I could find on Realtek Semiconductor RTL8821CE 802.11ac PCIe Wireless Network Adapter it would seem this NIC is…a problem child…so I don’t know if there is anything that can be done, really. Except perhaps trying a different kernel. For that, see:

ooh ok, thx, I’ll try with a different kernel

By the way after installing 7 different kernels I arrived to the Linux 6.6.63 rt46-3 that worked but then after 2 minutes stopped working, and now I’m with Linux 6.11_rt7-3 and is currently working good.

uh yeah, as I thought it’s happen the same to Linux 6.11_rt7-3 and now I tried all kernel and nothing work. What else could I do?

Short of buying and using a relatively cheap USB WiFi dongle, I have no idea. In fact, I don’t think there’s anything else to do.

Or switch to copper.

Sorry.

See → AUR (en) - rtl8821ce-dkms-git

Remove all kernels except linux612

Then install support packages

sudo pacman -Syu linux612 dkms base-devel --needed

Clone the package and build

git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/rtl8821ce-dkms-git
cd rtl8821ce-dkms-git
makepkg -iscC

I noticed just now that I still had another kernel

It would seem you didn’t do:

yeah, noticed after, I can’t do git clone anymore because it tells me it already exists, what should I do?

Remove the cloned directory and try again:

rm rtl8821ce-dkms-git

Or simply skip the cloning and go directly to:

makepkg -iscC

still didn’t work :confused:
output:

Welp, maybe someone else sees something, if there’s something to see. I, however, don’t see anything and neither do I have much hoped to get it working. (Although I hope to be wrong on that account.)

Technically the driver build and install as expected - but to ensure the system recognize the driver you should restart the system.

You can see which kernels you have installed

mhwd-kernel -li

When you have removed all excess kernels restart the system.

The reason for doing this is to avoid confusion as to which kernel is automagically used at boot time.

Currently running: 6.12.4-1-MANJARO (linux612)
The following kernels are installed in your system:
   * linux612

It still tell me no network devices available

:man_shrugging: throwing some ideas - but I have no clue.

Be sure to check the hardware wifi toggle - usually a Fn+F-key combination.

Check that wifi is not softblocked

rfkill

Realtek and MediaTek hardware often have flaky Linux support
