Hi guys. The following problem occurred after system restore.

Here is the text of the error:

“No dependency observed:
-removing lib32-libelf causes “lib32-libelf” dependency intended for lib32-mesa”

Moderator edit: It’s <pre><code> :wink:
@_Master thanks man, i junior in html :slight_smile:

Hi @_Master, and welcome!

In order for us, or anyone for that matter, to be able to provide assistance, more information is necessary. To that end, please see:

Hope you manage!

:bangbang: Tip: :bangbang:

To provide terminal output, copy the text you wish to share, and paste it here, surrounded by three (3) backticks, a.k.a grave accents. Like this:

```
pasted text
```

Or three (3) tilde signs, like this:

~~~
pasted text
~~~

This will just cause it to be rendered like this:

Portaest sed
elementum
cursus nisl nisi
hendrerit ac quis
sit
adipiscing
tortor sit leo commodo.

Instead of like this:

Portaest sed elementum cursus nisl nisi hendrerit ac quis sit adipiscing tortor sit leo commodo.

Alternatively, paste the text you wish to format as terminal output, select all pasted text, and click the </> button on the taskbar. This will indent the whole pasted section with one TAB, causing it to render the same way as described above.

Thereby improving legibility and making it much easier for those trying to be of assistance.

:bangbang::bangbang: Additionally

If your language isn’t English, please prepend any and all terminal commands with LC_ALL=C. For example:

LC_ALL=C bluetoothctl

This will just cause the terminal output to be in English, making it easier to understand and debug.

Please edit your post accordingly.

I’m no expert, and even less so when it comees to AMD graphics cards, but this :point_down:

…makes me think it has to do with the AMD drivers. So I recommend installing the latest and greatest drivers for AMD. Have a look here:

https://forum.manjaro.org/t/behind-the-scene-manjaro-community-mesa-nonfree-codecs/135012

Either that or I think your system is very behind updates, and you need to refresh your mirrors before updating.

So, refresh your mirrors, first:

sudo pacman-mirrors -f 5

Followed by performing a complete update:

pamac upgrade && pamac upgrade --aur --devel || echo -e '\033[0;91mThere was an error upgrading the system. AUR packages not upgraded.\e[0m'

This will update your system and ONLY if that was successful update any AUR packages.

a Reminder: While use of the AUR is possible, it’s neither recommended nor supported.

I recommend pamac instead of pacman, especially for newcomers as pamac was developed by Manajaro (developers) for Manjaro and just takes care of more thing than pacman.

I restored the system with timeshift.

And right after that I decided to update, and I got this error:

This link:
https://forum.manjaro.org/t/behind-the-scene-manjaro-community-mesa-nonfree-codecs/135012

Returned text:

“Oops! That page doesn’t exist or is private.”

I used command:

sudo pacman-mirrors -f 5
