BIOS → GRUB → KERNEL → manjaro

A kernel can´t hinder the BIOS to run !

You may have to hold a key to get into BIOS (sometimes F2 or F10)
You can read about this in the manual of your motherboard.

You also can stop in GRUB (ESC or an other key) to select an other kernel (if you have installed 2 or 3 )

BTW this same system also boots archlinux, and Debian as well as Windows10 w/o problems
Also boots kernel 5.15 and does not lock up on recover from suspend.
The last 6.11 kernel will start the BIOS for an addon card, "BEYIMEI PCIe 4X SATA Card 6 Ports, SATA III 6 Gbps Controller Expansion Card, ASM1166/SATA 3.0 Non-Raid::
