WIFI reconnects after 5-30mins and I need to type in the password again

Hello,
like I said in the title, after 5-30 minutes I lose the WIFI-connection and I get a prompt to retype the password.

If I just click on “cancel” and then go to my WIFI-settings and click on connect, everything works fine (until I lose connection again).

Typing in the password or executing sudo systemctl restart NetworkManager does not help either.

This happens on a fresh installed KDE-Manjaro (newest stable version).
I also reinstalled it and checked the hash and gpg-signature.

if you have dhcpcd.service there, disable it to avoid conflict with NetworkManager by sudo systemctl disable dhcpcd.service.

Take a look at this thread here regarding rtw_8821ce. They suggest installing this package from aur. I would recommend that as soon as linux 5.16 is released that you remove the package and see if the new kernel has the needed fix.

You can also check for “possible issues” on the driver’s GitHub page.
