The first time it’s used, sure. But it’s soo customisable that that doesn’t last long. And if it doesn’t get regular maintenance, it can very quickly become unmanageable. Please see below:

No, it’s not. And we — as the helpful community members of this forum — regularly have to explain this to the newcomers.

Execute command reboot

Think of the following imaginary situation
When you use your system or shortly after login - a message appears - telling you there is updates available. When you click the message Pamac opens with the updates pane listing 100’s of packages ready to download/install on your system.
