Update requests for packages imported from Arch Linux

It will be when the Arch maintainer updates it. It was flagged out of date last week.

Hi, the borg package in the community repos needs an update. It was just updated to 1.1.16 (current version in stable is 1.1.15-3, current version in unstable is 1.1.15-4. Looks like the new version was just released on 03-22-2021 according to the github page Release Release 1.1.16 · borgbackup/borg · GitHub. The maintainer is Morten Linderud foxboron@archlinux.org. I have no idea if that person is an arch person or someone on the manjaro team. Anyway figured I’d post it here and someone in this group would know how to proceed with it. Thanks!

Does the @archlinux.org domain give you a clue?

borg 1.1.16 is already in the unstable repo, please check Branch Compare before requesting package updates.

https://archlinux.org/packages/core/x86_64/icu/

Both packages are taken from arch as they are and will arrive in unstable (and subsequently all the other brachens) if and when arch updates them.

The current stable version (1.5.12) requires package python-ruamel-yaml <0.17.0, which is no longer available after the stable update on April 9th. This has been fixed in 1.5.13.

What is the best way to fix this issue until borgmatic gets updated in stable? Downgrade python-ruamel-yaml? Try to manually upgrade borgmatic?

borgmatic 1.5.13-2 is currently in the unstable repo. Please check Manjaro Branch Compare before requesting updates.

there is 2 patches securities
for xorg-server 1.20.11 and xwayland 21.1.1
https://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=X.Org-Server-1.20.11

xorg-server is already at 1.20.11 in Unstable ─ see the Branch Compare page. xwayland is still at 21.1.0, but will probably be updated as soon as Arch releases it.

Wine 6.6.-1

I require it to test India Income Tax Utility exe file.

Could we pin branch compare link or something similar in the op? It might help, its surprising (or not ) how many people don’t know about branch compare thread

And we can create a direct search link with ?query= https://manjaro.org/branch-compare/?query=systemd

That was either implemented very quickly or already there - the example link you gave is working.

I’ve added it to the OP.

Ah it now works again? I asked about it to be reimplemented when the Branch Compare website was modified last year. Didn’t know, I had to remove my custom search engine in browser for this website and I admit I stopped using the website just because of that  Nice, I’m adding it back to my search engines :+1:

vim is out-of-date

https://github.com/vim/vim/releases/tag/v8.2.2850

Vim is directly taken from arch and at 8.2.2803-1 in unstable.

Can you update Kicad, please. 5.1.9-1 is broken since Stable-Update from 28.04.21.
/usr/lib/libngspice.so.0: undefined symbol: history_file

Arch has Kicad 5.1.10-1

Thank you very much.

Same as Manjaro unstable…
