Hi guys, Today I did a fresh install of Manjaro Gnome. After Installing I updated my system using
sudo pacman -Syyu
But I got this error :-

Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.
Any Help would be highly appreciated, I am unable to update my system!
Use at your own peril ─ it’ll probably be okay but it does have the potential to become dangerous if you don’t know what you’re doing…
sudo pacman -Syu --overwrite="/usr/*"

You’re welcome. Let us know whether it worked.
Thanks for your solution, but after updating with this command. I got a plain adwaita theme (it’s not a big problem, I selected manjaro theme from tweaks) but there is no dash on the screen. I think there is some issue with dash-to-dock. I also used Manjaro Layout Manager which is also not working as expected!
There appear to be some problems with the dash-to-dock thing. The following three posts/threads have been submitted just days ago…
I’ve just updated the system and after the restart I ran into something that looks like bug.
The first thing is, I completely lost my dash to dock configs. They don’t work and also the extension’s GUI can not be accessed.

After running the latest Manjaro update (on July 13) the dash to dock extension for Gnome stopped working.
I reinstalled the extension, which helped but there are still some issues.
I couldn’t open the settings (I can now after running this fix Dash to dock fails and default desktop view changed after the update - #19 by kuznero )
But I the window previews (when multiple windows of an application are open) are still not working.
I tried:
disabling/enabling the extension
changed the setting …
Gnome 40 is finally available, thanks Manjaro Team!
I have encountered some problems with this update:
The Gnome extensions got disabled, I had to re-enable them.
I cannot open Dash to Dock settings, and the dock looks ugly (see below).
The Dash to Dock extension is very buggy : there is no margin below, some text overlap the dash when I open activity, the background color is not contrasted enough …

Hey, how do i go back to the latest version of gnome after executing this command?
Welcome to the forum, but please don’t hijack other people’s threads.
If you issued the command as I gave it higher up, then you should already be on the latest edition of GNOME. You will have to reboot first, of course.
