The new version of pamac-gtk is okay, clearer than ever. (10.1.0beta-1)
I’ve got one minor issue on Gnome 40 where the dropdown-menu for setting the default web-application (and E-mail - but doesn’t matter) is greyed out. Is there any way to set the default apps manually via cli?
Old design of pamac-gtk was better.

It’s better with "gtk3-nocsd"

My first reaction to the updated pamac is quite favorable. i like the new interface and it even seems to run faster.
I’m running Plasma desktop.

Hello, I wanted to check on gnome and switched to unstable from testing but after doing the upgrade I got stuck when GDM was supposed to be loaded:

I downgraded to “testing” again - not sure what the system wants to tell me except it could not run gnome but maybe its helping you folks.

Just a heads-up, there’s a current archlinux/less bug report on less v580 (beta). Here’s the original forum discussion .
Searching for less and systemd at manjaro.org/branch-compare shows v580 and v247.4 in Unstable . If less “568 or newer” isn’t required by systemd until 248, couldn’t Manjaro stay at less 563 at this time.

I’ll keep a note on this one. Let’s see if we update to systemd 248 series anytime soon.

I quite like also the new Pamac interface.
I just find it more difficult to distinguish installed from non-installed packages in the list at first sight.
Yes there are specific icons, but a different background color could help.

Not really, but Extension: BaBar helps while waiting for DtD and DtT.

I do not see any difference - have I to clean my glasses?
On Gnome 40. Makes things ugly. But that is a matter of taste.
Switched over from Stable to Unstable for the latest version of Gnome. No issues so far!

Atm I’m using “Frippery Panel Favorites” which I found thanks to another user.

You should restart or at least restart the x server
Does it work with GNOME 40?
Yep, it does. Haven’t tried all of Frippery’s features, though.

Thanks very much! My waiting for dash to panel will be more comfortable, than earlier.

There is a Gnome 40 version. Not yet in “gnome-extensions” but works.
