The PC does not turn off via the start menu

For some reason when I turn off the PC through the start menu it remains black screen, but if I turn it off through the command in the terminal everything works fine

Disable session restore as mentioned in the second post from the update thread:

With KDE Plasma 6.1, the session saving feature can make Plasma hang.
A workaround is to disable it in System settings > Session > Desktop Session, by choosing “Start with an empty session”.

I’m glad your issue is solved.

However, there isn’t a Start Menu in Manjaro.

“Start Menu” is a typically Windows(ism) that has always been somewhat contradictory – I mean, clicking Start when you really want to Shut Down – How weird is that?

In Manjaro (as with most Linux flavours) the widget is often called the Application Menu; in KDE Plasma, we even have Application Dashboard and Application Launcher as possible alternatives.

Right-click the icon and choose Show Alternatives if you would like to try these options for yourself.

Hi @DANIL10RUS and welcome to the Manjaro community.

As a new forum user, please take some time to familiarise yourself with Forum requirements; in particular, the many ways to use the forum to your benefit.

To that end, some or all these links may be invaluable:

Last, but not least, the Update Announcements, which you should check frequently for important update related information.

An issue may be directly related to a particular update; these announcements should generally be checked before posting a request for support.

I hope this is helpful.

Cheers.
