Text in file manager partly invisible after the large 2024-05-13 update

After the stable 2024-05-13 update, the file names in the file manager sometimes become hidden and reappear only when I hover over them with the mouse. A similar issue occurs with pop-ups from the file manager, such as when a USB stick needs to be ejected.

Here is some information about my system:

I will greatly appreciate any suggestions on how to solve this problem!

Can you try to use Wayland, a more recent kernel like 6.1 or 6.6 and
if Wayland an Nvidia driver do not work properly together, then use the nouveau driver.

… or a different theme.
The default theme looks greenish (teal) - not blue.
But I don’t know how to change that without an extra extension - I can’t seem to find a way to change it in the default minimal installation.

Thanks for the idea. I tried the 6.1, 6.6 and also the older 4.19 kernel. Unfortunately, it didn’t make any difference.

I tried to change it via Tweaks - Appearance - Legacy Applications. Is that the right way to do it? I did not see any difference in the theme, even after a restart.

I don’t know.
I just noticed a different (incompatible?) theme in your screenshot than what I see in my default installation and speculated that this could be the reason.

It might be worth a try.
Does anyone else know how to change the theme?

The newest stable update [Stable Update] 2024-06-10 - Kernels, Systemd, NVIDIA, Mesa, Qt5 fixed the issue!
