Hello! I am having issues with steam not opening, and games not running anymore. No idea where to even begin! I even backed up my data and am now running a fresh install of manjaro with the exact same issue as before.
This is the terminal output when running steam:
[trent@PatrickRock ~]$ steam

steam.sh[4157]: STEAM_RUNTIME is enabled automatically

Sorry for lack of information. Let me know if there is anything else I can provide. This has driven me to create a fourms account after 2 years of using manjaro without much issue.
Thank you for tuning into my rant. I have no idea how this works, but I uninstalled steam, uninstalled xdg-desktop-portal-gtk, and reinstalled steam with xdg-desktop-portal-kde (I am sure this is hackey).
Steam was working like magic since I started using manjaro. Unfortunately, I cannot pinpoint exactly what led up to steam not working, as I have recently been in the process of moving. As for this fix I do not know if I have created more problems for myself, but it opens now, and is running games like Kerbal Soace Program just fine!
You probably dont want a QT portal for your GTK desktop.
Kinda defeats the purpose.
Did you maybe miss the announcements (and other) thread?
Did you try installing lib32-libnm ?
