I installed manjaro on my chromebook, and I only have dummy output, It is Apollo Lake, help.
Hi @saytaylor, and welcome!
In order to receive the help you so urgently requested, more information is necessary. To the end, please see [HowTo] Provide System Information and, if applicable, [HowTo] post screenshots and links.
can someone just please tell me what to supply and i will
If you actually read the links me and @ishaan2479 gave you, you’d know.
These commands in the links mean nothing to me, I only know debian and thats only the package manager
If I get something to input into the terminal I can do something but all those commands are as good as a language i dont even know
If you know Debian, then you should know how to run a command. Don’t just skip to the commands, read, actually read what they do and what’s required of you.
Thatll take like an hour and i hardly know what anything means in that document, arch, im not familiar with, once i tried sudo apt-get install on here
No, it won’t. And besides, the information is invaluable. Also, always remember, while Manjaro has its roots in Arch, Manjaro != Arch.
P.S.: All the time you’ve spent arguing with me, you could have read those links multiple times by now.
Read the link, apply what you read. Nobody can do it for you, it is already short, so go ahead:
Everyone on the forum, is here because we want, nobody’s getting paid for this, we do it for the love of it. Because we want to. The least you can do is not make it difficult forr those trying to be of assistance.
im sorry for not knowing hardly anything about linux

are you going to help me? you dont have to but itd be nice
Don’t be sorry about that. Just be willing to learn and do something. Don’t expect everything handed to you on a silver platter.
P.S.: That double-negative is really funny!
what double negative, these
That is a double-negative.
You’re saying sorry for not knowing hardly anything about Linux. And if you don’t know hardly anything, you do know a lot. So it actually means you’re sorry for knowing a lot about Linux.
OK, back on track now. Please provide the output for:
pamac search manjaro-pipewire
systemctl list-unit-files --all | grep -i pipewire
manjaro-pipewire 20220107-1 extra Manjaro meta package for complete PipeWire support.
SystemCTL didnt list anything.
In the future, when posting anything from the console, please format it like your post with the
inxi output. This increases legigbility, making it easier for those trying to be of assistance.
About audio, I know absolutely nothing, zilch,
0 etc., so this is plain, plain, plain guesswork.
manjaro-pipewire and see what happens:
pamac install manjaro-pipewire
If this doesn’t help, or do anything, I’m afraid I don’t know anymore and we’ll have to wait for reinforcements.
