This problem was happening with my system, I just turned my PC on and 10gb of my RAM memory was being consumed with 0 programs opened. I noticed the problem was the Plasmashell process, I finally gave up trying to solve it and stopped using Plasmashell and started using Liquidshell: https://forum.manjaro.org/t/plasmashell-high-ram-memory-usage/128223/8
