Resolution of external monitor gets reset once everytime after I switch it off and on

Hi,

It was no problem to set up my external monitor, which is a pretty old but functional Sony XDM-X93 (1280x1024). However, every time after I switch the external monitor off and back on again, the resolution settings for the monitor are lost and get reset to 1024x768.

Is this a bug or am I supposed to edit a config file additionally?

Thanks!

Grtz.,
