Pacman works but pamac is giving out error

It may take a bit of time for mirrors to catch up (more details here ).

Update your system and merge the pacman pacnew /etc/pacman.conf.pacnew file.

sudo pacman -Syu "pacman>=6.0.2-11"
pacdiff -s
sudo pacman -Syu

Also possible that you might need to refresh mirrors before updating (from terminal):
sudo pacman-mirrors -f5 && sudo pacman -Syyu
