No audio from internal speakers KDE Asus Zenbook

I have a recent install of Manjaro KDE. I am getting audio from bluetooth but not internal speakers. Windows is fine.

I’ve checked that they aren’t muted, and have tried to test the audio in system settings.

I replaced pulseaudio with manjaro-pipewire, but this didn’t help.

Sound via the built-in speakers work fine for this particular model starting from the recent kernel 6.8 (See here). If an older kernel is being used, firmware and kernel module patch are needed. More information about patching can be found on this [Github Gist].
