Laptop speakers not working after using headphones or Bluetooth speaker in conjunction with PipeWire and WirePlumber

What do you guys do to get the speakers to pick up sound after using headphones or Bluetooth?

I have tried systemctl --user restart pipewire.service && systemctl --user restart wireplumber.service. However, so far I have only been able to get the speakers to work again by rebooting.

Many thanks for any suggestions in advance!

This is my system:

Hello. You could check if sound is muted, e.g. using alsamixer or pavucontrol. If it is muted, then unmute it.

Thanks for the suggestion but I already checked and made sure it is not muted.

Ok, I only mentioned ist, because I made the experience that Pipewire/Wireplumber muted the system sometimes when I change between headphones, speakers etc.
So maybe somebody else here in the forum has some ideas.

It’s often times such trivial things. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: Thank you very much for your help.
