Hi @Rekx, and welcome!

In order for us, or anyone for that matter, to be able to provide assistance, more information is necessary. To that end, please see:

Please also note and heed: Forum Rules - Manjaro

Hope you manage!

:bangbang: Tip: :bangbang:

To provide terminal output, copy the text you wish to share, and paste it here, surrounded by three (3) backticks, a.k.a grave accents. Like this:

```
pasted text
```

Or three (3) tilde signs, like this:

~~~
pasted text
~~~

This will just cause it to be rendered like this:

Portaest sed
elementum
cursus nisl nisi
hendrerit ac quis
sit
adipiscing
tortor sit leo commodo.

Instead of like this:

Portaest sed elementum cursus nisl nisi hendrerit ac quis sit adipiscing tortor sit leo commodo.

Alternatively, paste the text you wish to format as terminal output, select all pasted text, and click the </> button on the taskbar. This will indent the whole pasted section with one TAB, causing it to render the same way as described above.

Thereby improving legibility and making it much easier for those trying to be of assistance.

:bangbang::bangbang: Additionally

If your language isn’t English, please prepend any and all terminal commands with LC_ALL=C. For example:

LC_ALL=C bluetoothctl

This will just cause the terminal output to be in English, making it easier to understand and debug.

Please edit your post accordingly.

Hi, thank you for the help and i have updated my post accordingly. Please help me to get my bluetooth audio working.

Note:
Also to let you all know that the bluetooth audio pairing was working fine while i was testing with a live USB.

Please provide the output of:

rfkill

Here it is,

 0 bluetooth acer-bluetooth unblocked unblocked
 1 bluetooth hci0           unblocked unblocked
 2 wlan      phy0           unblocked unblocked ```

Everything looks good to me, and I don’t have, or care for having bluetooth, so have no experience with it. So I won’t be able to help any further. Sorry.

:sob:

Perhaps someone else can.

Hey, it is okay and thank your for your time . I appreciate it. Hope someone has the fix soon as i dont want to replace the OS just because of headset issue :sweat_smile:

I have a number of blue tooth devices that I’ve had to scan/search for via the bluetooth device manager several times before they show up … even if they are actively polling for a connection… I’ve had to scan up to half a dozen times … once the device has been found and connected it usually remains in the device listing…

I’ve noticed if you are booting different partitions … you have to delete the device from the bluetooth manager devices list as the stored codes do not match … and then search several times to find it again…

Hope this helps …

Thank you for sharing, for now i am using Only Manjaro os only not on multiple boots. i had tested few OS , installing Pulseaudio worked on Fedora Os, Linux Mint but i do not have proper knowledge on this. I tried to install Pulseaudio but i Cannot because of Pipewire i think.

ALSO as you said i scanned several times with my both audio devices with no success but yes my smartwatch is listed on scan.

I would consider several aspects:

  • Your bluetooth headset, can be found by other devices? i.e. your phone.
  • Check bluetooth versions of each device, might help you narrow down the list of potential errors and incompatibilities.
  • Then check your drivers, are the right ones installed in your system? Bluetooth - ArchWiki
  • Check your headset documentation and look for information in related forums. They might give you a hint on which path you should be taking in this regard.
  • Consider that sometimes there are certain incompatibilities between devices and built-in bluetooth and bluetooth dongle. If you can, test it with both devices once your drivers are installed.
  • Try connecting other bluetooth devices to your computer to make sure is operating as its supposed to.
  • Sometimes bluetooth headsets have a small pairing window, by this I mean that the time it remains discoverable and open for pairing is quite small. You should check on that too

Archlinux docs and manjaro forums should have enough info to help you perform all these tests and prolly more.
