Tell me how to do a fresh install in order not to erase the home partition, only root.
I have dedicate this: /, uefi, swap, home… Can I start a fresh partition only on /?

I think is better this way in order to install root as a clean install and not touch home.
Can you guide me on this clean install?
you just select manual partitioning in the install options, then you bound it to your home partition, and DONT FORMAT THE HOME PARTITION… do a backup of your data too…

but i would just back up my data from my current home partition and do a fresh install…

I have one SSD GB dedicated only to Manjaro.
Can’t go with clean installation and mantain home, so, I run a manual partition with same parameters and I’m updating now.
Can you tell me how to go with clean installation without partitioning again?

in the link above there it is explained that you have to use manual partitioning and not format the home partition… but i never reinstalled system like that so really cant help you out on this, but you can search the forum on guides…

so now you are on open source drivers, so lets try with the envycontrol, but you will very likely end up with a black screen…
install the non bumblebee drivers:
sudo mhwd -i pci video-nvidia-390xx
install envycontrol:
pamac build envycontrol
then run this:
sudo envycontrol -s nvidia
it will prompt you for reboot so do it, and finger crossed 
Stuck on plasma, can’t enter.
Now in chroot.
it was worth a try, so thats it…
uninstall envycontrol:
pamac remove envycontrol
then remove the nvidia drivers:
mhwd -r pci video-nvidia-390xx

Reboor now or install bumblebee?
remove the leftovers:
sudo rm /etc/modprobe.d/nvidia.conf
sudo rm /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-nvidia.conf
then install the bumblebee:
sudo mhwd -a pci nonfree 0300
reboot
and thats it…

there are options to make run specific applications with only nvidia, for example lutris that you mentioned, so just go through it, and see if you can make it run…
