Error while loading manjaro

Hi Manjaro community!
While loading manjaro 21.0.2 (KDE Plasma 5.21) I got some wired errors:
[FAILED] Failed to start pkgfile database update But After that error my system boots up without any problem!(And writing this with that system).
The first question is what is this service is doing?
The second question is how to fix this problem?
Edit:After reboot still same error but system boots-up.
According to these website(s):
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Pkgfile

Tried these commands:
sudo pkgfile -u
sudo pacman -Syyu
systemctl | grep pkgfile
The first two command worked without any problem
but third command output was:
pkgfile-update.timer
loaded active waiting pkgfile database update timer
Edit2:Now I used
sudo pacman -Rsu manjaro-zsh-config zsh-autosuggestions zsh-completions zsh-history-substring-search zsh-syntax-highlighting zsh
How to fix the error?

Hi @bardiarajabi,

This might, or might not, be related to pamac not being able to use the AUR rght now.

Team Manjaro is aware of it and working on it.

Hope this helps!

Hi @Mirdarthos.
Thanks for replying to my massage.
I don’t think that pkgfile is related to pacman.
also i enabled aur support in add/remove software.
After running sudo pacman -Rsu manjaro-zsh-config zsh-autosuggestions zsh-completions zsh-history-substring-search zsh-syntax-highlighting zsh
Seems to pkgfile is completely gone:
sudo systemctl enable pkgfile-update.timer:
Failed to enable unit: Unit file pkgfile-update.timer does not exist.
sudo systemctl enable pkgfile-update.timer:
Failed to enable unit: Unit file pkgfile-update.timer does not exist.
sudo systemctl status pkgfile-update.service:

sudo systemctl status pkgfile-update.timer:
● pkgfile-update.timer
Loaded: not-found (Reason: Unit pkgfile-update.timer not found.)
Active: failed (Result: resources)
Trigger: n/a

Apr 27 16:04:38 bardia-Manjaro systemd[1]: pkgfile-update.timer: Unit to trigger vanished.
Apr 27 16:04:38 bardia-Manjaro systemd[1]: pkgfile-update.timer: Failed with result 'resources'.

What the heck is going on here and tell me what is pkgfile doing with my system!

I have a vague idea, which is:

pkgfile is a tool for searching files from packages in the official repositories.

According to the Arch wiki

So, although it specifies official, it might be because of the AUR.

so deleting that wont solve any problem?
Edit:I want to continue using AUR Packages

Nope. At least, I don’t think so.

Edit:

You are able to use them if they are installed on your computer. If you need to install something, see: Installing packages from AUR

In the post it would seem it’s also safe to use yay.

Yay can be installed from the official repositories:

$ pamac install yay

Hope this helps!

Forget about that now how to fix these problems:
1.That error on boot
2.services status:
sudo systemctl enable pkgfile-update.timer:
Failed to enable unit: Unit file pkgfile-update.timer does not exist.
sudo systemctl enable pkgfile-update.timer:

It’s all part of the same problem, as we’ve just been discussing.

Yeah I know
Also I prefer using software center to download AUR packages not YaY yet

As we were saying there is any solution to fix the problem?

None except patience.

Edit:

That I’m aware of, anyway.

Patience???
For what Exactly?
edit:
An Update?
Bug Report?
pkgfile update?

Patience, yes. Because patience is a good thing to have, in general. Also now. Except if there’s a life on the line, which I doubt is the case here. And that depends on whose life, anyway.)

And patience for Team Manjaro to work with Team Arch to figure out what went wrong and fix it. In the meantime, there are other ways to get AUR packages on your system, so you’re not completely without it.

what do you mean?
you mean now i cant get the aur packages?

You should’ve actually read my previous post:

seems like i cannot get the aur packages

the obfs4proxy-bin 0.0.11-1 was installed from software center and it says that package is a aur package but now it doesnt display it

Yeah, well this whole post’s been about the AUR not working at the moment with pamac, so I guess it makes sense.

you mean you also cant download the aur packages from software center?
Edit: also pamac is software center name?

pamac is Manjaro’s software center, bro. What you see in the screenshot is just the GUI (Graphical User Interface) for pamac.

OMFG I forgot that XD
As we were saying, The pamac is having problem with the aur packages right now?
Correct?
