Dual display mixed up with last update - Same ID

After the recent update, my dual monitors setup got screwed up. I have a 25" HP monitor (hdmi) and a 24" HP (dp0). Both monitors return to “mirrors” only setup. After a couple of reboots and moving around I finally got it right. Now both monitors are label HP 25 in. It get the ID wrong for one monitor which had make it difficult to setup. inxi --edid show the monitor proper name. On my second boot OS, Windows sees both with different IDs correctly.
Can I change the monitor ID in the monitor display section or it is fixed ? Thanks

I have to add that the screens setup is screwed up after a certain period in sleep mode. It revert to mirrors mode and lose its previous positions. This was fine before the last update.

Hi @joseph1,

Since this isn’t your first post here, I’d have thought you knew that order for us, or anyone for that matter, to be able to provide assistance, more information is necessary. To that end, please see:

Hope you manage!

:bangbang: Tip: :bangbang:

To provide terminal output, copy the text you wish to share, and paste it here, surrounded by three (3) backticks, a.k.a grave accents. Like this:

```
pasted text
```

This will just cause it to be rendered like this:

Portaest sed
elementum
cursus nisl nisi
hendrerit ac quis
sit
adipiscing
tortor sit leo commodo.

Instead of like this:

Portaest sed elementum cursus nisl nisi hendrerit ac quis sit adipiscing tortor sit leo commodo.

Alternatively, paste the text you wish to format as terminal output, select all pasted text, and click the </> button on the taskbar. This will indent the whole pasted section with one TAB, causing it to render the same way as described above.

Thereby improving legibility and making it much easier for those trying to be of assistance.

Please edit your post accordingly.
