chromium over wayland, with ozone X11 gives the error:
libva error: vaGetDriverNameByIndex() failed with unknown libva error, driver_name = (null)
and you have to pass the drivers manually, for example radeonsi on my case.
in xorg it doesn’t happens and I use OBS and MPV and it doesn’t happens either with wayland so…
Try setting the Preferred Ozone platform (chrome://flags/#ozone-platform-hint) to Auto.
Says who? Pass them to what and how?
i mean That
It fixes the error on chromium
This is on Auto already… and in auto in wayland it uses x11( and better for me to have vaapi support inside)
Idk if its a bug know or not, I’ll mark my answer like a fix because it’s a workaround but… I think chromium should detect well the system libva drivers :s
