Sleep/hibernate mode battery consumption

Using my 4 years old asus laptop and noticed that every night my laptop battery drains with 10-20% of the battery. Tried using sleep and hibernate mode and the drain percentage same. I checked energy consumption and noticed that at first hours of sleep mode my laptop consuming 5W and after some time it starts consume 18W. Installed “laptop mode tools” and see no changes. Battery drain after shutdown with Manjaro XFCE on Laptop

I have Manjaro XFCE 20.0.3 installed on my HP laptop. My laptop has Intel/Nvidia hybrid grphics. It is Nvidia-optimus laptop. The problem is After shutdown, the battery drains about 40% of the battery. I think the laptop didn’t shutdown properly. I observed this problem many times. Previously i used Manjaro KDE. Battery Drain while Turned Off?

Seems suddenly the batter on my laptop drains even with the laptop turned off. The laptop is a three year old Samsung, and according the Manjaro, the battery health/capacity is 93% of what it once was. Huge battery consumption on KDE

Used to buy new battery for my pretty old asus laptop. But the battery life is horrible, 2h 50min of use with new battery. So I did a powertop to locate what takes so much power in my system. the most of the time “tick_sched_timer” and the two kwin_x11 processes take the most power.
