Windows dont snap to sides

Apologies if this is in the wrong section, this is my first time posting on this forums.

I recently updates my kernel to Linux 6.1.12-1 and I noticed that windows doesn’t snap to the side/corners anymore. (and pressing windows + arrow keys doesn’t work either) does anyone know if this is a bug with a new version, or are there some settings i can check to fix this.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

This behavior has changed from xfce 4.16 to xfce 4.18 (…since quite a while).
You might have changed some setting ?

In English 4.18 Xfce it’s the
“Minimum size of window to trigger smart placement” slider at:
Control Centre >> Window Manager Tweaks >> Placement

good morning

Just noticed this eventual windows crash…just go to settings > window manager > keyboard > scroll to “set window up” and double click to re-enter “CTRL+ALT+UP ARROW”. Repeat the operation with the other window shortcuts… adjust windows down, left and right with their corresponding arrows and it will work correctly.

That seems to have solved it, Thanks
