When I connect to wifi it connects successfully and shows connected but the internet doesn’t work, I can’t ping anything or use anything with wifi, since I don’t have an ethernet cable and the router is far away I’ve been using the USB tethering feature to get acces to the internet.
But it is getting quite annoying to plug my phone and turn on tethering every time I start up my pc.
Any idea why this is happening?

I wonder whether you could try to fix your problem with the help of the following post, which aims to:
- disable mac randomization
- Unset IPV6 and choose another frequency channel on your wifi card.
- Look whether your wifi is locked by software or bios, perhaps you have a key binding that allows you to enable or disable wifi on your keyboard.
- At last, the option to use another kernel seems to be good.
‘No wifi visible or can connect to any wifi unless I restart my pc - #6 by man’

The wifi started working again after posting this but it again seems to have stopped working.
