Wifi adapter no connections found

That looks good. Now please provide the output of:

lsmod | grep rlt

There is no output for this command.

Cool! Now, let’s reboot and see what happens. I’m sure you know the drill.

When done, please provide the output of:

sudo inxi --admin --verbosity=7 --filter --no-host --width

…again.

Here you go.

And I’m guessing it still doesn’t work? Because I think everything regarding it has been set to default.

After some reading, it looks like you should install the rtlwifi_new-extended-d drivers. But I was unable to find them in the AUR.

After some more reading, it seems it is included in rtw88-dkms-git:

$ pamac info rtw88-dkms-git
[...]
Provides              : rtlwifi_new-dkms rtlwifi_new-extended-dkms-git rtlwifi_new-rtw88-dkms
[...]

So, I think it’s safe to install rtw88-dkms-git:

pamac build rtw88-dkms-git

And lets blacklist the current module:

sudo echo 'blacklist rtw_8822be' > /etc/modprobe.d/rtw_8822be.conf

Afterwards, it should be fine to reboot. So, you know the dance, go do it and reboot.

Want me to remove this first?

Didn’t know it was installed, so yes, remove it first please.

Still didn’t work out…

Then reboot.

If this doesn’t work, then it’s got me stumped too.

just to check, when you were blacklisting and removing the blacklist, did you run everytime the mkinitcpio -P command?

So this is why I have to call in @bogdancovaciu and @Aragorn as reinforcements, because I really have no clue further.

Edit:

For reference:

That device ID pointed me to this
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=260589
and this
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=245668

So, the proper driver should still be the

But if that doesn’t work, then, as per this discussion [SOLVED] RTL8822BE driver installation / Newbie Corner / Arch Linux Forums it should be switched to rtw88-dkms-git … installing the linux headers first and using apsm_pcie.policy=powersave kernel boot parameter.

Some of that was already mentioned, with slight difference that to be honest i don’t know much about, as the kernel boot parameter mentioned was:
pcie_aspm.policy=powersave
and
pcie_aspm.policy=performance

So what is it?
apsm_pcie.policy
or
pcie_aspm.policy

Are those interchangeable? Usually if the connection is failing, i simply delete the entry from Network manager and create a new one. I always disable mac address randomization (that was also mentioned) and i disable IPv6 …

Guys thanks for all the help.

I have found this post:

… and for now everything is working correctly after I followed this plan.
As long as I don’t post on this thread it is working correctly but I have to test it on an other network to be sure.

Again thanks for all the help because of you I knew in what direction I had to start looking.
