Wie kriege ich Platz auf der Systempartition?

Hallo!
Ich habe Updates eingespielt und bekam dann die Meldung das kein Platz mehr wäre.
Wie kann ich Platz bekommen?
Wo finde ich temporäre Dateien und alte Installationsdateien etc um diese zu entfernen?

Vielen Dank im voraus.

Verwaiste Pakete, die von keinen anderen Paketen benötigt werden:

pamac list --orphans

Prüfe ob du die fremden Pakete wirklich benötigst:

pamac list --foreign

Lösche den Zwischenspeicher:

pamac clean --build-files
pamac clean --keep 1

Alles kann auch im pamac-manager gemacht werden. Entferne Pakete, die du nicht brauchst.

Ansonsten verwende zb.: baobab um große Dateien zu entdecken.

100GB nur für das System… was hast du da alles installiert? /home ist doch ausgelagert auf sda3?

Kann ich die Waisen einfach so entfernen oder besteht die Gefahr das doch etwas davon noch gebraucht wird?

Das löschen de rbuilddateien hat jedenfalls schon über 15 GB gebracht.

Prinzipiell ja, aber es gibt immer Ausnahmen. Immer prüfen.

sudo pacman -Sc

“entfernt alte Pakete aus dem Paketpuffer” und schafft bei mir gelegentlich für wieder mehr Platz auf dem Systemlaufwerk. :wink:

Die Waisen lasse ich erst mal, doch der Rest hat ja schon ca. 15 GB frei gemacht.
