What exactly is this mesa-git in extra repo now?

You will find it in official stable branch, just search for:

[j@p16s ~]$ pacman -Ss mesa-git
extra/mesa-git 23.3.0_devel.177307.ca162bc82d5.d41d8cd-1
    an open-source implementation of the OpenGL specification, git version
multilib/lib32-mesa-git 23.3.0_devel.177307.ca162bc82d5.d41d8cd-1
    an open-source implementation of the OpenGL specification, git version

I assume it is the mesa-780 replacement, What a mess, also the last stable release for mesa-nonfree stable branch was two weeks ago, bringing noobs in trouble. Disparaging statements about stable branch lead to the conclusion that this will remain the case.
