What is “bandling”
@freed00m , you see the left image… that’s banding. Should be like the right one. It occurs sometimes when a color is graduated across a few shades. Mostly it’s because of the compression of the file. If there isn’t enough light on the image, that could also explain it. In that case you can ad some noise to it. The wallpapers are uploaded in 8-bit PNG files. (sometimes 16-bit) But they will show on the forum as JPG. That’s the reason that I post the link of the original PNG files.
I have a real crappy laptop screen, and sometimes I don’t see the banding. But people with a good monitor do see it. That’s why I hate it.
HUD 2.0
(Should’ve saved this one as 16 bit but it would be too large. If you are planning to use one of these, please download one of the original files -> better quality)

The top one should be the official wallpaper for the next Manjaro release!
I don’t know why but I don’t like the feet logos. I always remember of nickelondeon’s director(producer?) Dan Schinider
I also would have preferred a different body part, but …
