virtualbox-bin-guest-iso  7.1.4-2 -> 7.1.6-1   AUR

Out of Date:

nomachine                 8.14.2-1  AUR

Thhat is because you have the one from the extra repository installed, which is the recommendation, but, since you have the AUR enabled, pamac sees that one, that has a higher rebuild number and wants to up-/downgrade to that.

So the way i see it, you’ve got two options:

  1. Either turn the AUR off and work with the repositories only; or
  2. ignore it and see what happens.

a Reminder: While use of the AUR is possible, it’s neither recommended nor supported. See:

Turning off AUR fixed the update issue.

Is it OK to turn AUR on when I want to install from AUR then turn it off again?

I honestly don’t know. But I think it has to at least be turned on for updating.

It also looks like you are using the stable branch which is using version 7.1.4 of virtualbox.I am on the unstable branch which is at 7.1.6. Once stable updates to 7.1.6 they will be the same version.As @Mirdarthos posted you can just ignore it.

Probably. But once you have installed (other) packages from AUR, you as well don’t want to miss the (security/whatever) updates from the AUR as well …
