Good afternoon,
I had some issues while trying taking an screenshot, it gives an error message, then, i try unninstall and install again the spactacle package, but same error.
the error, when i try to run it from console is:

    ~  spectacle  ✔
spectacle: error while loading shared libraries: libvvenc.so.1.12: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Does somebody else have the same issue? and maybe guide me on how to fix it?

Moderator edit: Topic title edited to be clear and concise about the error

Are you fully, not partially, up to date?

And are we sure this is the normal spectacle from the repos?

As … it does not rely on vvenc (the package that would provide libvvenc.so.1.*), and that package only exists in the AUR.

@Furikao Install ffmpeg from the repos. Apparently you have one of the following AUR packages installed that depends on the aforementioned:

  1. Yes, up to date.
  2. Yes, i search 4 another one, but, i could find only 1 package for Spectacle.
  3. so… the vvenc… come from AUR, allow me to do more research.

Please review the post by @Yochanan … do you have a foreign ffmpeg package?

@Yochanan yes, u are right, indeed, i have installed the “ffmpeg-amd-full” from AUR.

I will try to install the “ffmpeg” from oficial repos extra.

What am i suppose to select?

I have an AMD Ryzen 3500u with Radeon Vega 8, with the amdgpu driver.

Till now, i have HW GPU decode aceleration through Mozilla Firefox.

Regards

None. Those are optional dependencies and, according to your comments, none of them are applicable to your system.

Perhaps losing the AMD optimized ffmpeg. It’s ok anyways.
