Hi @Merk, and welcome!

In order for us, or anyone really, to be of assistance, more information is required:

As much info as you can, really.

USB A devices has 4 connectors - two for power - two for the bus signal.

If the device is powered but the system doesn’t recognize the device - in your case a mouse - is defective. Perhaps only the cable where one of the signal wires is broken.

Or the system’s usb port is defective - have you tried a second port?

Two months without a mouse! Have you tried another mouse?

hello sure mouse and usb works. already tested it

Providing terminal output

When posting terminal output, copy the output and paste it here, wrapped in three (3) backticks, before AND after the pasted text. Like this:

```
pasted text
```

This will just cause it to be rendered like this:

Sed
sollicitudin dolor
eget nisl elit id
condimentum
arcu erat varius
cursus sem quis eros.

Instead of like this:

Sed sollicitudin dolor eget nisl elit id condimentum arcu erat varius cursus sem quis eros.

Alternatively, paste the text you wish to format as terminal output, select all pasted text, and click the </> button on the taskbar. This will indent the whole pasted section with one TAB, causing it to render the same way as described above.

Thereby increasing legibility thus making it easier for those trying to provide assistance.

Please edit your posts accordingly.

Edit:

Welp…

I’ve gone through all these:

…and I couldn’t find the mouse. So, maybe I’m wrong, but it looks to me like a defective device. Otherwise a defective USB port.

and it worked? seems like this is just a defective mouse.
