USB Adapter Issues (D-Link DWA-181 AC1300 USB 2.0 adapter)

Hey all! I’m having issues with the AC1300 D-Link DWA-181 USB adapter, and I’m completely lost on how to make it work with my Manjaro system. (The adapter in question is a Wi-Fi/Bluetooth combo adapter.)

What do I need to provide to get started to make the USB work on my system? Anything else I need to provide? (This is my first ever post, so I could use some help. Pardon my inexperience!)

Here’s what I know about my system:
Manjaro Distribution: with KDE
Current Kernel: 515-realtime

Hi, Ham!
Welcome to community!

Have already read the How to provide good information?

I have not, alven - sorry. Now that I know, I’m sending the info here.

I have an idea that my USB adapter requires the RTL8822b drivers. What’s next from here?

Update: Found the drivers, but make says that net/ipx.h is missing. What does that mean?

Is kernel-headers installed?

Install the appropriate kernel headers and DKMS. It looks like the driver needed is
rtl88x2bu-dkms-git 5.13.1.r149.7f96b19-1.

After you install the appropriate kernel headers and dkms ( it’s a dependency and will install if you have not already), in terminal:

pamac build rtl88x2bu-dkms-git
