Updated Manjaro Gnome and Wickr & Signal dont work

Hey guys,

So I have been trying to debug this for 2-3 hours now with no luck. I found some information it might be caused by glibc altho I am not sure if I updated that.

Anyway, both Signal and Wickr don’t work for me. Signal isn’t that much of a problem as I can do flatpak for that, but Wickr is a disaster for my work. Here is what I get as an error:

~ >>> wickrpro [134]
zsh: abort (core dumped) wickrpro

for signal

~ >>> signal-desktop [134]

Hope some help might be provided!

For wickrpro … really nothing else?
I suppose you can manually grab the coredump. That may be helpful.
Also … how did you install these things?

Sorry, sorry. Added quotes, hope its more readable now. Yep, only that for Wickr. I also tried to remove the cache fonts etc. as I had to do that on my MacBook but had no success. That being said, I never got the core dump error on the MacBook.

I just did

sudo snap install xxxx

for both.

I should also mention I also re-installed snapd with services stopped & re-enabled and still nothing.

Going to try to grab the coredump tomorrow, but was really hoping I am not the only one and this was something foolish that is easy to fix.

If I can’t get it to work tomorrow, I guess I will need to get a VM Running temporarily that runs Wickr Pro, but really hoping to avoid that.
