Odd issue on current Manjaro xfce/GPD Pocket 3–building ceph took five hours before it failed.

I use yay to rebuild Chrome, while querying pacman says “there is nothing to do.”

Should I keep pushing this ceph upgrade?

Do you need it?

If not, you should remove it before updating.

PS: See other threads about this, by searching.

Thank you for a lightening-fast response. I certainly don’t need ceph. From your link, I see that other users have uninstalled it rather than ignore it in pacman.conf. Which would you recommend given that it doesn’t appear necessary to my setup?

Thanks again.

Removing it would be my recommendation. I don’t have it on my installs. So rather save the space.

Great. Thanks for bringing me up to speed. Will mark your last post as the solution.
