I usually use pamac on xfce, but I have also tried terminal commands. I got warnings on the previous two or three updates that I did. I did not anticipate the need to keep a record of what these were, so I don’t have information on them. The packages needing update are game-devices-udev, v86d, and xcursor-breeze. I tried removing them but I can’t since they are dependencies. I tried removing db.lck, in case I had a db lock conflict, but there is no such file. I’ve tried refreshing mirrors. I’ve tried refreshing keys, as detailed in the wiki. Nothing seems to work. Are there any other ideas to try?

Thank you. The procedure of editing SigLevel in /etc/pacman.conf, then deleting files in /var/lib/pacman/sync, then refreshing the mirrors has worked. It appears my issue is closed. Sorry to be a bother, and again, thank-you so much.
