I’m not sure why Arch is delaying moving GNOME 50 packages out of gnome-unstable. They may be waiting on upstream fixes.

perhaps, fallout of dropping X11 would almost certainly be felt on Arch and its derivatives first, i guess

Kernel 7.0.0-rc6-1:
Audio still isn’t working. ASUS B550.

Connected via HDMI: “HDMI / Displayport 6 - Navi10 HDMI Audio”
No sound.
Connecting to mainboard internal sound:
“Line output - Starship/Matisse HD Audio Controller”
(Analog stereo output)
WORKS.
==> digital no, analog yes <==

EDIT: kernel 7.0.0-rc7-1 solved this!

GNOME packages have been built without X11 support since 49. :wink:
