libfilezilla just updated. Filezilla 3.68.1-1 needs to be pushed from Arch.

Indeed. Syncing nowā€¦

can you check about lib32-fluidsynth version ?

la prƩparation de la transaction a ƩchouƩ (la satisfaction des dƩpendances a ƩchouƩ)
:: lā€™installation de fluidsynth (2.4.1-1) casse la dĆ©pendance Ā« fluidsynth=2.4.0 Ā» requise par lib32-fluidsynth

lib32-libva-vdpau-driver was dropped and orphaned. It does not depend on anything, as far as I can tell it was installed in 2020 from something I needed in relation to some video issue I experienced when playing old games, it was explicitly installed. Iā€™ve removed the package.

I see that zip and unzip were recently made orphans on file-roller, piquing my curiosity. Looks like heftig made this commit that made them makedepends instead. I tested by removing those orphans and didnā€™t have any initial problems either extracting legacy zip archives or creating a new zip archive using file-roller so it would appear that this functionality is now built-in. I figured Iā€™d mention this since many people still work with legacy zip files and could be alarmed.

Iā€™m pretty sure zip and unzip have not been required to interact with .zip archives for quite some time.

Taking a quick look it would appear the unarchiver, p7zip, and others all have varying degrees of support.

Indeed, checking the package information for file-roller zip/unzip are listed as optional dependencies for ā€œbetter ZIP archive supportā€. The word ā€˜betterā€™ of course implying there is some ā€˜lesserā€™ zip support preexisting.

For whatever its worth the same depends and comments are presento n the upstream Arch package as well.

So far, no issues with the updates. Qt release is fine, but it still is not fixing partial scaling bug (causing graphical glitches).

With kernels 6.11 and 6.12, laptop freezes upon waking from suspend. Using manjaro-sway unstable.
This proposed solution has not helped, unfortunately.

A post was split to a new topic: Wayland session is giving me a black screen

Udisks2 mounts removable devices just fine without a password request, but when it comes to non-removable devices it asks for a password. That seems to be the default and no polkit rule is set for that. When I set:

polkit.addRule(function(action, subject) {
    if ((action.id == "org.freedesktop.udisks2.filesystem-mount-system" ||
         action.id == "org.freedesktop.udisks2.filesystem-mount") &&
        subject.isInGroup("wheel")) {
        return polkit.Result.YES;
    }
});

It mounts just fine without password. It is a quite recent unusual behavior. Not the problem of the December update.

It is a QoL bug.

It would be nice to add a rule here by default, if possible.

There is regression in Dolphin 24.12.0-1.

After update 24.08.3-1 ā†’ 24.12.0-1 with preview on, after changing fileā€™s name, the preview is gone and file is shown as general file icon.
After downgrading to Dolphin 24.08.3-1 the issue is gone and changing name of a file is not destroying the preview.

Here is the bug report:

A post was split to a new topic: Updating systemd to 257-1 resulted in no internet connection

:information_source: Python 3.13 rebuilds will be starting shortly.

According to This Week in KDE Apps, that issue will be fixed in Dolphin 24.12.1:
