I have recently updated my system to Talos 22.1.1 and my external hard drive is not detected when plugged in. It does show up with lsusb as Bus 002 Device 003: ID 0411:01f9

I think it is not the hardware failure of the hard drive as it can still be detected when plugged on to the same PC running Windows 7 and files can still be accessed and read properly. There are several posts on external hard drive not detected or mounted on this forum, but they were posted in 2021. I have already tried some of the suggestion, but it didn’t help.
Is this a known issue and is there a way to solve the issue? Thanks

Yes, I have Manjaro running on my PC for 2 years now. I upadated it using sudo pacman -Syyu few days ago and Manjaro Hello shows that it is now Talos 22.1.1.

I am not sure if there are any foreign packages that could have replaced the ones of core system. There’s the list. Could it be manjaro-firmware ?
