Trying the Bigscreen image, but no user available to log in

Hello. I am trying to use the Manjaro Bigscreen image on my Raspberry Pi 4, but there is no way to log in when the display manager loads. It instructs me to “Select your user and enter password”, but there are no users to choose from. I switched to another terminal and tried to log in with “root”. It won’t log in with either a blank password, or “manjaro” as the password. I saw some posts that suggested those. Is there any way that I can add a user and log in?

Thanks,
Steve

Where did you get the image? There is no official downloads.

I know there is some experimentals - but they are experimental

The arm phone images has passwords

root:root
manjaro:123456

I grabbed a pre-release image here:

Did you ever get this to work? I can’t find any record of what the default username password is and can’t get root access

I downloaded the Jul 2nd and June 25th images and both give me this issue. I haven’t been able to figure out how to actually login. It looks like from older videos on YouTube, its supposed to just login without the prompt.

Has anyone been able to get this working lately?

Pico wizard used for initial setup is broken and it’s not being maintained.

Pico was dropped for pinephone images too.
So will have to drop it on bigscreen image too.
